H.E. Mr. Gennady P.Trotsenko
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary
of the Russian Federation to Bangladesh

Mr. Gennady P. TROTSENKO was born in 1948. In 1971 he graduated from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO). The same year he joined the diplomatic service and worked at the Consulate General of the USSR in Karachi, Pakistan (1971-1977 and 1988-1993), at the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the People's Republic of Bangladesh (1997-2001). Since 2001 up to recently he worked as Deputy Director of the Third/Second Asian Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation. He is PhD in History. He speaks Urdu, English, German and French.
